Medical Assistant- Physician Practice (PRN/Days)

The Medical Assistant works under the supervision of the physician and in cooperation with other office staff in assisting with safe and effective patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and Florida Hospital Flagler goals and objectives. Duties include obtaining vital signs, assisting with medication refills and stocking exams rooms.
Knowledge and Skills Required or Preferred : Six (6) month customer service or medical experience required. Proficiency must be attained via on-the-job training, and orientation, within 3 months.
Education and Experience Required or Preferred: Minimum of high school degree or equivalent and graduation from a vocational or other technical school with training and apprenticeship.
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required or Preferred: CPR, Certified by the American Heart Association is required. Certification as a medical assistant or emergency medical technician preferred.
