Qualifications - as established by the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (DHSMV)
•Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Human Services or related field
•Be able to document three years or 4,000 hours direct experience in the field of chemical dependency treatment
•Master's Degree may be substituted for 2,000 hours of experience
•Windows-based computer typing experience
•Valid Driver's License
Part-time Position. $17.50 per hour.
Description
Conduct psychosocial evaluations of students enrolled in the DUI Counterattack Programs to determine the existence of an alcohol and/or substance abuse problem.
Score and evaluate all psychometric instruments. Consult the Evaluator's Guide for Critical Factors to make appropriate assessments.
Provide an explanation of the evaluation and make recommendations to the student.
This position requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching and possibly lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally. Operate office machines and equipment.
