Service Technician

FAS Windows & Doors is seeking a Service Technician to provide window and door service work on new construction and existing homes.  We represent many manufacturers, including Andersen, Simonton, Eagle, Soft-Lite, PGT, etc. Must have some experience in installation, experience in window repair and replacement.  This pivotal position requires , time management, clear report writing skills, and knowledge of the window and door industry. You must also be a mature individual who maintains a warm, friendly, helpful and professional demeanor.  

Responsibilities: 

• Utilizing the tools provided to get the correct information from the field to the office; this includes identifying and requesting the right part numbers and providing a detailed description of the problem. 
• Service or repair windows and doors at customer site.
• Completing services in a timely manner. 
• Maintaining a clean, neat and organized service vehicle.  
• Maintain inventory of stock service items on vehicles. 
• Perform related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Education, experience, knowledge, and skills required for this position include: 
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in the construction industry needed.
• Clean driving record is required. 
• High school diploma required. 
• Professional appearance required.
• The ability to lift 75lbs and work from heights on ladder or scaffolding is required.
• Related field experience is required. 
• Mild carpentry skills preferred. 
• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.  Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics.
