Bartender

We say we're looking for a bartender, but that's not quite right. What we're really looking for is passion. Weird passion. Spirit and cocktail passion. 

We want someone who lovingly sips their Rye Manhattan whilst longing for the Pre-Prohibition cocktail revelry of yester-year; Who aches to see the tragic consumption of corn-syrup concoctions dissolve once again into craft, creativity, and the culinary joy of well-mixed spirits; Who knows or cares to know what David Wondrich is writing about this month, and for whom names such as Dale Degroff, Gary Regan, Death and Co., PDT, and the Aviary are exhilarating, exciting, inspiring. We want someone for whom Quality is more meaningful than ease and convenience. We want someone who's not afraid to break a sweat in the name of great cocktails.

Some Job duties include but are not limited to: 
•     Understanding, anticipating and executing guests’ service needs according to   Dragonfly standards.
o        Maintain complete knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including food, from ingredients, preparation, taste, quality standards and final presentation.
•     Working knowledge and efficiency with POS system.  Adhere to all payment, cash handling and credit policies and procedures.

Position requires the following, but is not limited to:
•     Minimum experience of at least 1 year in upscale, high-volume establishments (Sushi restaurant a plus!). 
•     Positive attitude, pleasing personality and composure even while working under pressure.  
•     Responsibility/Accountability for self and others 
•     Ability to communicate and work well with other staff members (Teamwork!)
•     Maintain and exceed positive guest relations at all times 
•     High sanitation standards in accordance with Health Dept. requirements 
•     Adhering and upholding Dragonfly standards (trustworthy, honest, dedicated, integrity, great work ethic...) and living the culture!
