SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring availability and making pricing decisions of a selected group of properties in the USA with the purpose of maximizing the profit of the rooms nights sold. General support to Destination and Product Market Managers while being a support to the colleagues in the Yielding Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• PRODUCT MAINTENANCE:
• Maximizing contracts conditions in terms of availability, special offers, competitiveness analysis, stop sales renegotiation.
• Maintain Contracts and update offers (to be send to OSC or done by Yield)
• Guarantee that all product is available for all RTMs at the correct rate.
• Support to SWS users (SWS training, maintenance of codes…)
• Increase and Promote management of Rates and Availability through SWS and Channel Managers within the existing portfolio
• Support any request that comes from TL/RYM
• Daily coordination with CM.
• Study and sent proposal revenue action to Revenue Dpt.
• PROMOTIONS & ANALYSIS:
• Following up on Trading evolution vs last year and targets in coordination with CM.
• Special follow up on PPA/KP/Special agreements
• Identifying Business Opportunities in terms of product, offers or any other in coordination with CM
• Reporting to TL on actions taken and results
• COMPETITIVENESS & POSITIONING:
• Automatic competitiveness Report Analysis (fortnightly) in coordination with CM
• Positioning: Push Sales towards PPA/KP/ Special Agreements
• Existing hotels: Review PPA/KP has adequate content for our RTMs – if not: advice OSC to prioritize.
• POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL TASKS:
• Renegotiate Price Guarantee Commitment vs hotel webpage
• Litigation: Solve possible negative discrepancies with suppliers in terms of invoicing (only once MEDAF Finance can´t handle the situation)
• Minimize reallocations and/or complaints (only once the SRC can´t handle the situation)
• Business trips (preparation)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory responsibilities connected to this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum Associates Degree and/or at least (2) two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Excellent ability to write simple correspondence. Excellent ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS: Only local candidates will be considered. Must be eligible to work in the US. Relevant Hospitality/Hotel experience preferred. Must have a minimum of 2 years Hotel Experience in Sales, Front Desk or Reservations.
