Occupational Therapist Assist-Certified-OHRI Inpatient (Pool/First Shift) - Orlando Regional Medical Center
The Occupational Therapy Assistant will follow a plan of treatment for patient care established by a Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Demonstrates ability to appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice.
Implements treatment and modifies accordingly.
Provides patient/family/caregiver training as appropriate.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload.
Demonstrates the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to their age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as delineated in the departmental policies and procedures.
Graduate from approved college with an associates degree in Occupational Therapy for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Current license in the State of Florida as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Continuing education as required by State Practice Act.
Maintain current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
