Sr. Designer, Concept Architecture
Develop drawings, sketches, master plans, models, and creative design and planning solutions during the Blue Sky, Concept Development, and subsequent phases of work. Create graphic and narrative reports on project sites, formulating plans for development and construction using AutoCAD and other sophisticated computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Create feasible and construct-able designs that align with program plans, creative intent, schedule, and budget requirements. Create 3-D electronic models that accurately and clearly depict the architectural design intent. Provide aesthetic design, color boards, sketches, and drafts. Review architectural designs. Participate in the development of architectural and creative development standards.
The primary requirements are a Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Art, Environmental Design, Theatre Design, or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelors degree experience in related occupation. Alternatively, a Masters degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Art, Environmental Design, Theatre Design, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires 6 years of International theme park attraction and resort design management experience; 6 years of International theme park attraction and resort work planning and scheduling experience; 2 years of International theme park attraction budgeting experience; 6 years of experience with theme park technologies, including ride, A/V, robotics, engineering, and various show systems; 6 years of experience with theme park attraction architectural, project management, organizational, and production/construction practices; 6 years of experience with BIM, V-Ray, AutoCAD, Adobe, Sketchbook; and 6 years Knowledge of International Building Codes (IBC).
