AdelCare II Inc home care services have been helping families since 2004. We provide Personal Supports, Respite Care and LSD1 - Companion Services through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Medicaid Waiver and Personal Care Services for individuals under 21 years old through Medicaid.
Schedule:
Fridays 2:00pm to 8:00pm
Position Summary:
Assist a 16 y/o boy and 20 y/o girl with developmental disabilities with basic activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, oral care, feeding, transfer and mobility. Indoor and outdoor recreational and therapeutic activities.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 65 pounds for transfer client when needed.
- Must be energetic and able to work with two clients at the same time.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening and local law background.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting or working with people who have a developmental disability. In lieu of the required work experience, you may have 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school.
