Fleet Service Coordinator

The Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida is seeking a person to work as a Fleet Service Coordinator.

Job Summary:

Coordinates the functions of the Fleet Service Desk by performing the following duties:  Creates, updates, maintains, and closes all work orders that are generated by Fleet Management;  Coordinates safety recalls;  Submits paperwork for warranty reimbursement;  Handles all Service Desk phone calls; Coordinates with outside vendors on needed repairs; and Arranges pool vehicle distribution and maintains pool vehicle log.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• U.S. Citizen or possess a current permanent resident card
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two (2) years of experience and/or training in automotive mechanics or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and a good driving history.
• Clean criminal history; any arrest history will be individually evaluated.
• No illegal drug usage within the past three years, all other usage will be evaluated on an individual basis.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.

Salary Range: $28,059 or $29,473 annually with 3+ years of experience
