Harbor Community Bank, one of the fastest growing banks in Florida has an exciting Accounting Clerk position available in their Palm City location.

The position of Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the department by performing a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable processing. The Accounting Clerk will also perform daily and monthly reconciliations; prepare and post general ledger journals; resolve general ledger non-posts; assist with internal and external reporting; support audits and examinations; prepare correspondence; and perform other duties associated with the Bank's general ledger accounting activities. Additional areas of support include: releasing wires; processing receivable transactions; monitoring the status of wire transfers.

Minimum requirements:

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from 2 years college or technical school; or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Work related experience should consist of financial institution accounting or bookkeeping background.  Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
