Transaction Accountant

Kaufman Rossin's outsourced accounting group is seeking a Transaction Accountant, to manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting function for select clients. Responsibilities for Transaction Accountant: Ensure that accounts payable are entered accurately and paid in a timely manner Ensure that accounts receivable are entered accurately and collected promptly Process payroll in a timely manner Ensure that monthly bank reconciliations are completed for all client bank account(s) Prepare payroll and sales/use tax filings Maintain the chart of accounts Maintain an orderly electronic accounting filing system Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the financial condition of the company Process transactions in a timely and accurate manner Issue timely and complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment by assuring compliance with the following, including and not limited to: Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements Represent the firm with clients, vendors, and business partners Technical Skills for Transaction Accountant: Advanced QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online or Xero skills Proficient with MS Excel, Word, & Outlook Familiarity with a plus Familiarity with other cloud-based software applications (Aero, Hubdoc, Tallie, Expensify or Fathom) a plus Experience with other general ledger packages a plus Benefits - just to name a few!
