Job DescriptionThis position provides comprehensive financial reporting for multiple real estate entities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for all aspects of Property Management and Program reporting including analysis of all Federal State and Local Contracts. Full charge bookkeeping functions for 20 separate entities with roll up reporting monthly. Position responsibilities include processing daily cash receipts, generating monthly tenant charges and statements, generating management fee billings, tenant set up in Yardi systems, year-end CAM reconciliations and month end reporting through trial balance. Responsible for creating separate property entity annual budgets and roll up Company budget in Yardi. Responsible for preparing and filing monthly sales tax returns. Responsible for preparing tangible personal property tax returns. Month end responsibilities include reviewing trial balance and budget variance, processing all journal entries, bank reconciliations, generating monthly financial statements for each property. Responsible for weekly review of invoice coding from Property Management. Review and code all owners' expense invoices. Weekly review of accounts payable and responsible for invoice payment selection. Monthly review of all funding requests and review of funding source variance reporting. Communicate regularly with and other designated senior management staff as required. Responsible for set up and maintenance of all property/program entity accounting records. Track and record fixed assets and depreciation Requirements:Bachelor's Degree plus five years of progressive accounting experience. Extensive (15+ years of property management accounting experience) may substitute for education.
