Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design Mechanical systems that simulate aircraft systems and/or performanceDesigns hardware, creates drawings, and implements designs
- Generate documentation for hardware corrections
- Experienced in 3D Modeling, preferably AutoDesk Inventor
- Maintains hardware configurations in accordance with internal documentation
- Work closely with Electrical and Software Engineers to gain competence in the product’s operational characteristics and test procedures
- At times, provides on the job training to other members of the department
- Support other departments in need of technical assistance
- Provides limited administrative and off-device non-technical assistance to customers
- Prepare technical trip reports for all services rendered
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- At least 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in the simulator industry
