General Cashier (AM Shift) - Caribe Royale

The General Cashier is responsible for hotel general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and account and bank reconciliations. They will assist with monthly closings at the Caribe and Buena Vista Suites; support both properties in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. The responsibilities for this position include inputting weekly payroll from organizational summaries into excel spreadsheets for the Buena Vista Suites and the Caribe Royale, performing daily credit card bank reconciliations to ensure money is being deposited into the bank account, inputting and classifying A&P and A&G food and beverage adjustments, distributing and logging of coupons and gift cards for hotel packages, as well as other duties as assigned by the Controller.
Previous experience is preferred.
