Mobil Dialysis (MDI) is in need of an experienced Administrative Assistant to handle critical organizational, secretarial and communicative tasks at our main office. The ability to multitask and prioritize activities is a critical component of the position. As an outsourced provider of dialysis and related services, the Administrative Assistant for MDI is tasked with fostering an effective communication link with multiple constituencies. This means assuring that there is an effective and cooperative relationship between the facility's management/clinical teams, the MDI management/clinical teams, physician and all related medical providers.

General Information

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Position Reports to (Title Only) : Director of HR

Principal Duties and Required Skills

  • Serves as initial point of contact for all incoming phone calls and faxes.
  • Support/Assist Manager of the Day in the coordination of nurse assignments. 
  • Assist in the maintenance and further development of internal database systems.
  • Support/Assist Management through the accurate logging and tracking of treatment data.
  • Serve as administrative support to members of management.
  • Arrange for equipment moves as necessary.
  • Support/Assist the biomedical team by receiving and routing all communication concerning work orders and other machine/system maintenance/repair items. 
  • Assist Inventory Control Mgr in receiving supply orders and adjusting deliveries based on overall patient volume. Receive deliveries.
  • Assist/support the ordering and inventory processes.

Requirements include: experience with word processing, data entry, billing and record keeping software programs; internet based applications; Experience as a Medical office manager strongly preferred. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.


Mandatory Education and Skills: - Computer knowledge, including but not limited to the creation of spreadsheets and forms, data entry.- Excellent time management and organizational skills - Self-starter able to work independently
