Warehouse Manager
Ajilon Executive Search is recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for our client in Ocala, FL.
Reports to VP of Supply Chain.
Responsible for managing the distribution staff, space allocation, storage of finished goods, inventory accuracy, accurate picking, loading of goods to customer, shipment scheduling, and compliance with customer routing guidelines.
**Essential Duties:** * Maintain product flow by managing the movement of goods from production to the warehouse in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
* Oversees and controls scheduling of shipments.
* Responsible for the organization of finished goods in the warehouse in such a way as to most effectively utilize space, facilitate ease of retrieval and in keeping with food quality standards.
* Responsible for upkeep of all lift truck equipment at both the plant and distribution center.
* Manages the picking, staging, and loading of all customer orders.
* Engage in ongoing communication with Sr.
VP of Operations, and Director of Manufacturing to ensure that the production plan, warehouse space plan, and customer shipping schedule are in sync to meet customer demands and operational needs.
* Coordinates and controls the order cycle and associated information systems.
* Develop and implement new ideas and solutions to overcome logistical problems.
* Responsible for P&L of distribution budget.
* Maintain accurate data integrity in SAP.
* Develop and implement new approaches to become more effective.
* Manage and develop operations staff including selection, orientation, training, succession planning, performance management, evaluation, coaching, and discipline.
* Knowledge of 3PL and related opportunities * Partner with the 3rd Party Logistics Provider for order management and the delivery of goods to customers to ensure Key Performance Indicator metrics are achieved (Must Arrive By Date / On Time In Full) * Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:** * BA/BS in business or related field * 3 5 years experience at a managerial level in manufacturing distributions * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines * Willingness to work a flexible schedule, some travel required * Working knowledge of inventory control systems, shipping and receiving practices, efficient warehousing, and budget management * SAP proficient * Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment * Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally * Lean trained/Black Belt preferred * SQF knowledge Please send resume to or apply online at to view all open positions.
