Accounts Receivable&Revenue Leader

TheAccounts Receivable&Revenue Leaderwill serve as a liaison for multiple departments to ensure needs are met, complete trend analysis, compile and sort business transactions, investigate problems that arise with customer billings and/or application of payments.

This individual willact as the key point of contact within the Accounts Receivable team by escalating issues and resolving questions.

Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as: funds received and disbursed; totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.

Tracks company credit card charges and reconciles statements.

Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, general ledger accounts with various registers; extracts general ledger information; compiles cost revenue reports, and balance sheets.

Serves as liaison for multiple departments to ensure needs are met.

Completes trend analysis and research.

Oversees various Accounts Receivable functions, including posting payments to outstanding invoices, pulling payment amounts, monitoring aged receivable reports, and processing refunds.

Participates in projects with initial direction.

Creates and documents procedures.

In control of handling chargebacks, and inquiries, as well as answering and updating Salesforce chargeback cases to be in line with merchants.

In a Lead capacity, develops new concepts and techniques to improve effectiveness, handles and resolves extremely complex or unique assignments, often exercising independent judgment and initiative.

Serves as a resource for others in the same skill area.

Act as key point person within the Accounting Specialist team by escalating issues and resolving questions.

Act as backup for certain Accounting Specialist functions.

Participate in interim and year - end audit requests, ensuring accurate and complete data.

Partner with Staff Accountants to reconcile unapplied cash accounts.

3-5 years in an Accounting role in a corporate organization.

1-2 years in a Lead Accounting role with at least 1 direct report.

Must be very computer savvy and have the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and work in multiple systems.

Proven customer service ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable enforcing policies yet uses good judgment to make exceptions where appropriate.
