Description: Visium Resources is recruiting for multiple Electronic Technician positions for aerospace related project. Aerospace is NOT MANDATORY, however component level repair/troubleshoot experience is required.
The Technician performs systems repair work and is responsible for parts receiving, unserviceable parts disposition, and electronic test equipment maintenance work.
First and Second Shift opportunities
THIS JOB IS CONTRACT 3-9 MONTHS, WITH POTENTIAL OF DIRECT HIRE.
Equipment:
- Computer and other office equipment
- Fluke meter, oscilloscope, video measurement test racks, monitors, solder iron
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required
- Minimum of two (2) years of Technical College (four (4) years of electronic component bench experience is equal to approximately two (2) years Technical College)
- Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License a plus
- Willing to travel on a regular basis both domestically and internationally
- Currently in possession of a valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- Pass a ten (10) year background check includes fingerprinting, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Requirements: IV. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong in electronics/avionics
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Component Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues, wiring diagrams, and follow written procedures and instructions
- Thoroughly familiar with ESD procedures
- Familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), 14CFR, Part 145 Repair Station procedures and must work towards obtaining an FAA Repairman Certificate for the repair of equipment
- Ability to perform routine mathematical operations as required for job performance
- Excellent communication skills
