General Summary:
Isleworth Golf & Country Club is seeking an exceptional Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team of elite professionals.
We are seeking an individual to work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Ala Carte Dining outlets. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, direction, supervision, and guidance to ensure the highest level of service and amenities to our members and guests. The Assistant Food & Beverage manager will work in conjunction with our culinary and Food & Beverage service team to provide our members and guests with a memorable experience. This candidate will be a hands-on manager that is visible and engaged during the hours the dining outlets are open. Also, the chosen candidate will assist with banquet functions from time to time as well as assisting in organizing, planning and execute our member holiday events.
Essential Job Functions:
Proven and substantial management skills with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, time management and the unwavering pursuit of World Class service. We are seeking a consummate professional with an eye for detail and the proven leadership skills to motivate his/her staff to new levels.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hiring, training and supervising all service personnel.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Ala Carte dining management experience in a comparable setting.
- Plan and coordinate training and professional development programs for the food and beverage staff
- Assists in developing on-going marketing programs for all outlets and member events
- Daily monitoring of internal cost control procedures
- Assists in auditing and approving bi-weekly payroll
- Assists in budgeting and capital program
- Producing the Ala Carte schedule weekly as well as monitoring labor as business demands
- Monitor employee dress codes and cleanliness according to policies and procedures
- A good understanding of wine and experience in wine sales promotion programs
- Creative, energetic, engaging and a highly visible manager to the staff, management, membership, and guests
- Strong understanding of club industry technology, preferably Jonas software
- Completing other tasks assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment.
- Must be able to maintain positive, professional relations with members, other employees, and supervisors.
- Degree in the Hospitality field is preferred
