Job Title:          Memory Market Coordinator
Department:   Guest Services
Reports To:      Director of Mission Delivery and Outreach 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Results:
- Every GKTW guest, volunteer, visitor, or paying customer visiting Memory Market is 100% satisfied with the service, equipment and process, understanding that Memory Market compliments the storybook experience for wish families as well as adds to the quality experience for each volunteer.
o Lead volunteers by example in providing exemplary service and coach volunteers in onstage/offstage behavior as needed
o Track the merchandise “wants” of our guests/customers and communicate openly with Merchandise team
o Maintain video cameras, cell phones and all equipment related to these services
o Provide video recovery services for families, when needed

- Continuous improvement and efficiency of Memory Market processes and procedures to ensure unparalleled, courteous and personalized service to enhance each wish family’s storybook experience at the Village.
o Track trends and comparisons with previous year
o Foster successful volunteer program to increase the efficiency of Gift Shop, Media Center, Personalization, Family Scrapbook and Memory Keepers processes
o Maintain merchandise inventory, item tagging and cash box in an effort to maintain credibility and integrity for the Memory Market team
o Provide weekly and monthly reports to Leadership regarding merchandise sales
o Provide weekly reports regarding Personalization program

- Every wish family receives personal photos from their Village visit.
o Support questions regarding Picsolve service
o Recruit and train volunteer photographers
o Provide immediate response and resolution to any missing photos
o Support wish-granting organizations by providing family photos as requested

- Partner with wish-granting organizations and other Village departments to personalize as many wishes as possible.
o Track and follow up on all “Favorites” forms
o Coordinate Personalization volunteers to provide a quality welcome gift for all families with “Favorites”

- Every Memory Market volunteer receives a positive, quality experience including targeted recruitment, efficient onboarding process, comprehensive job specific training, and timely/appropriate recognition, causing them to make a personal commitment and return to the Village.
o Provide monthly volunteer updates
o Personally contact each volunteer
o Recruit and train qualified volunteers in each area—Gift Shop, Photography, Personalization
o Plan and lead volunteer appreciation efforts—both ongoing and at designated times throughout the year

ROUTINE TASKS INCLUDE:
- Supply orders
- Inventory counts and requisitions
- Volunteer training and coaching
- Volusion trouble-shooting
- Maintaining Memory Market display
- Photo downloads
- Camera inventory and repair

PHYSICAL DEMANDS BEYOND NORMAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Detail oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to implement new ideas and methods
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage volunteers and staff in all processes related to areas of responsibility.
- Computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Internet-based programs (Volusion and Volgistics) and front office management software (RAVEN).
    
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma required; BS/BA Degree is preferred, or AS degree/vocational training with related experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Previous hospitality/reservation/customer service is helpful.
