Job Description
As a Territory Sales Manager, your role is to achieve revenue growth by supporting the Business Development team through our partner channel. You are both partner and customer-facing, and will be assigned a partner to help manage the relationship. Your focus is to increase the sales volume within the assigned region. You are responsible for developing new business opportunities, ensuring customer needs are met satisfactorily, and ensuring that the company’s presence in their assigned area is meeting the company’s standards and expectations.

You should maintain professional and technical knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape to improve knowledge-base for partners and increase partnership acquisition. Through proper follow up, education and nurturing, your role is to motivate partners increase the number of qualified leads submitted that turn into business. Values-based selling is a must. You will be measured not only on number of new partnerships acquired and revenue, but also on your conversion rate on leads.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives
● Nurturing relationships with partners, and working with them to cultivate referral sales opportunities.
● Train partner staff, implement sales incentive programs and goals to increase employee performance.
● Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings.
● Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set per quarter.
● Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships.
● Develops, grows and maintains effective relationships with Partners/ Agents/ Associations.
● Manages day-to-day client communications and relationships with assigned partners.
● Travel is required.
● Other projects/tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
● Outside sales experience, proven success in generating revenue and hitting targets.
● Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry.
● Experience managing vendor or partner relations.
● Excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
● Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Solution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively in decision-making
● Strong work ethic to exceed expectations and goals.
● Coachable and able to take direction and feedback well, yet being forward-thinking to challenge the status quo.
● Experience/Desire to contribute to the broader goals of the organization beyond your immediate job description.
