Engineering Technician
Precision machine shop located in Northwest Orlando is looking for an experienced Engineering Technician.
Summary
Reviews blueprints, change orders, and other engineering data to maintain revision control of drawings and other documentation related to manufacturing activities.
Duties
• Evaluate / review engineering drawings, specifications, orders, and related production documentation for conformance to established guidelines.
• Maintains an electronic library of part drawings and associated manufacturing information to ensure conformance to the latest revision, and eliminate non-conforming documentation.
• Identifies and documents revision changes and distributes information to companywide departments and outside vendors.
• Prepares CAD drawings for fixturing, defining manufacturing requirements, aiding customers with design concepts, and for other manufacturing related assistance.
Qualifications
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of experience related to manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiencies
Blueprint reading (GD & T proficiency desirable); SOLIDWORKS CAD; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); some familiarity with machining and / or CAM programming helpful.

$18.00+/hour - commensurate with experience
