Groundsman Public Areas Attendant - NEWLY Renovated Hotel

Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center, a newly renovated hotel located in the International Drive tourist corridor, is now accepting applications for Groundsman.

The Groundsman will be responsible for completing all assignments in a professional and timely manner, while ensuring that all guests request are a priority to be accomplished in the timeliest manner.

Responsibilities:           

1. Maintain the property to always look professional and free from any deficiencies including but not limited to grounds; physical appearance of all assets kept crisp and up-to-date and all grounds and vehicles.

2. To maintain the physical assets in an effort to meet our standards of operations and to ensue the longevity of the asset and mechanicals of the property.

3. To assist to ensure the level of quality with respect to the structures physical and operational requirements.

4. Expedite special projects as requested within the timeframe required.

5. Routinely check public facilities to ensure the effectiveness of our preventative maintenance program.

Job Requirements:

1. The ability to work outside for entire shift - operate power tools, blowers, power washer, etc.

2. The ability to stand, squat, reach walk and lift for periods at a time.
