Salesforce Administrator:  YMCA of Central Florida, Corporate Metro Office, Downtown Orlando, FL

The YMCA of Central Florida is seeking a Salesforce Administrator. This position will be based out of our corporate “Metro” office located in Downtown Orlando, and it will report to the Information Technology Operations Manager. This individual will work with operations to improve processes and user adoption using the force.com platform. They will work with members of all departments using Salesforce to resolve technical or usage issues in a timely and accurate fashion. They will gather additional business requirements for ongoing enhancements to Salesforce; and where capable, perform customizations to reports, dashboard, fields, formulas, and workflows. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application problems and defects is a huge plus, as well as assisting in the resolution of data, process, user error, and system related errors that impact business operations.  

This position will work with software development on new features and with project teams implementing additional modules such as Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities and NPSP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; finance, accounting, information systems or related field of study preferred.
  • Salesforce Administration certification required.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in Salesforce Administrator Role, including administering setups and configurations of Salesforce.
  • 3 – 5 years experience as a user of Salesforce.
  • 3 – 5 years experience with requirements gathering, documenting, hands-on detailed system design, end user support, and implementation required.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
  • Administer all Salesforce environments: including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles, and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, formulas, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Monitor batch jobs that are scheduled to run on Salesforce instances.
  • Coordinate and establish business processes and identify new functionality to drive user adoption and increased company performance.
  • Define and document configurations changes.
  • Define and document business process changes.
  • Collaborate with the development team in the systems testing stage to ensure the solution is usable in the business environment.
  • Provide hands-on day-to-day application support to the business as needed, including resolving helpdesk tickets and completing small enhancements.
