Hotel Night Auditor - Relief/Part Time -

Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center, a newly renovated hotel located in the International Drive tourist corridor, is now hiring for a Night Auditor.

The Night Auditor is responsible for verifying the integrity of the property’s revenue accounts on a daily basis. Verify accuracy of all guest accounts by balancing departmental income. Run computerized update and compile information retrieved. Prepare reports on all revenue and statistics for the previous day’s hotel operation. Operate the Front Desk area from 11:00pm to 7:00am.

This Night Audit is a Part Time position - as Relief - 2 Nights a week - however opportunity to work Full Time if able to work 3 evenings as a Guest Service/Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities:

1. Reconcile individual cashier reports to PMS an POS totals
2. Reconcile all outlet summaries to property management system
3. Reconcile all revenue totals in property management system
4. Operate in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and government regulations
5. Ensure professionalism throughout department and staff
6. Prepare cash reconciliations for all cashiers
7. Run final reports
8. Prepare supplementary food & beverage analysis verifying posting categorically
9. Run end of day computer update programs
10. Must maintain “positive” guest relations
11. Ensure confidentially of personal guest information
12. Prepare and deliver all express checkout folios and newspapers to applicable guest rooms
13. Assist in locating accommodations for guests when resort accommodations are not available
14. To instill professionalism, demeanor, appearance, ethics and image of self and subordinates
15. Operate the Front Desk and PBX areas during the hours of 11:00pm – 7:00am
16. Assist in training new Night Auditors as needed
17. Knowledge of and how to execute any emergency procedures necessary during the night shift

Job Requirements:

1. College Degree preferred not required
2. 3-5 years Night Auditor experience
3. Ability and willing to work the hours of 11:00pm – 7:00am
4. Ability and willing to work on your feet for periods of time
5. Close attention to detail oriented
6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
7. Ability to work independently
