Cash Operations Manager - Kennedy Space Center, FL

Responsible for managing cash room operations to include scheduling and supervising Cash Room staff.  Ensure adequate controls are in place to provide accurate cash reporting, counterfeit resolution, initial daily reconciliation of cashier activity and associated cash receipts, ATM operations, operating funds, daily deposits, call-ins, petty cash, prior day cash reporting & reconciliation, off-line operations, credit card end of day procedures and problem resolution. Responsible for all banking activities to include preparation of monthly deposits to all trust fund accounts and vendors, reconciliation of all bank accounts; coordination with supporting banks, corporate cash department and procurement to ensure timely cash transfers and project status reporting to client. Act as a liaison with local banking representatives.  Maintain & update all safe combinations on property. Provide unit management with reporting and analysis of cash operations, variance resolution and problem resolution including cash, credit card and cashback resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Two years supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of cash controls and accounting procedures
• Excellent Excel skills.
