COMPTROLLER

Under general direction, performs highly responsible work in the administration of the organization’s finances including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, compliance with generally accepted accounting standards and State Statutes, annual audit requirements and fixed asset management. Plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s materials management policies, objectives and initiatives; oversees methods employed to make decisions for materials and supplies to include materials handling equipment and facilities design. Acts as Director of Finance in his/her absence.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally or nationally accredited  institution in accounting, financial management or a related field plus eight years of progressive administrative and supervisor/management experience in financial management supplemented by three years of experience in a government setting; or a combination of related experience, education, and training.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
