Milk Processor 2nd Shift.
Location: Miami, FL.
This will crosstrain, and work in both the Raw milk and the HTST areas as scheduled.
Primary Duties, Include, but are not limited to, the following: Receiving and unloading raw milk tankers, C.
I.
P.
of the received tankers.
Testing of Raw milk before unloading.
Pasteurization and separation of raw milk.
Batching or blending sugars, milks, starches in batching tanks.
Micro-plating for bacteria.
Pasteurization and homogenization of batched milk, vitamin additions, mathematical calculations of batched milks.
Batch planning to receive milk on time.
Cleaning of all equipment using C.

systems, and C.
O.
P.
tanks, and manual cleaning.
Responsible for batching all flavored, cultured and by-products within the Miami plant.
Responsible for DPMs in area (Dairy Preventative Maintenance) and Master Sanitation requirements.
Communicating with other areas in regards to scheduling and other production related issues.
Responsible for operating the KPS (Kline Processing System) computer systems to track milk.
Responsible for documentation in area and review of previous documentation for accuracy.
Communicating with his/her co-workers about constant improvement in their area.
Communication with Coaches about area issues / solutions / efficiencies.
Recognition of co-workers doing well &/or need improvement.
Production Order review and analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
Knowledge and adherence to State PMO requirements.
Work with plant trainer to co-ordinate department training and certification program .
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, include, but are not limited to the following: H.
S.
School Diploma or GED; ability to read and write well.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
The requires precision and is very detail oriented.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Completed milk processing certification is a required prerequisite.
Other as deemed necessary to fill the for the position.
Physical Requirement.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to lift 50lb bags.
Work Requirements.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
Must be able to work overtime as the business requires.
