SUMMARY The Director’s Assistant/Project Coordinator will perform a wide variety of administrative duties for the Director of Film Production and plan and implement many of the projects of the department, especially those that are cross-departmental and involve teams and ministries outside of Jesus Film Project and/or Cru. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track and administer director’s calendar/make travel arrangements.
  • Represent the department by answering questions.
  • Assist with annual budget and monthly expenses.
  • Manage projects from beginning to completion.
  • Determine project timeframes, funding, procedures, resources.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, legal personnel, managers, vendors, partners, marketing, leaders, national and international staff.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Offices practices.
  • Standard project management processes.
  • Budget preparation and control. Interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Advances knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database management. Type 60 wpm.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple complex projects running simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to: two years college level work in office management and three to five years experience in secretarial or office management positions of increasing responsibility.
