RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Service Desk Contractor in Tampa, Florida (FL).
The primary mission of our Service Desk is to provide fast, friendly and reliable answers for all customer requests as proficiently as possible.
Our values include a commitment to service excellence with courteous, professional, and timely service for every customer contact.
This needs to be a focus when candidates are chosen for the Service Desk as we are the starting point when customers talk to T&I.
Essential Job Functions: * Primary support skill will be phone support to assist customers calling into to the Service Desk and documenting all calls and requests into the current ticketing system* Coordinating all outages, problems, changes and ensuring when customers call their requests/issues are either corrected or routed properly with high quality documentation to the correct team* Phone support to assist customers calling into to the Service Desk and documenting all requesting into the current ticketing system* Moves, adds and changes (MACS): receives, inventories, delivers, and installs PCs and related computer equipment to departments after basic network connectivity has been established; provides support for various software products which may include terminal emulation, MS-Office products, Email, network operating system client software, and Windows 9.
x operating systems; replaces PC and printer hardware components Desktop Support Skills: assists customers in utilizing city standard desktop software (MS-Office products, Email, network operating system client software, and Windows 9.
x operating systems), hardware and peripheral devices; arranges for/or provides training to users* Inventory and Asset Management Skills: updates inventory and asset management systems to reflect new equipment acquisition and old equipment disposal; performs the annual inventory* Ability to lift minimum 30 poundsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
