General description: a.

Reports to Installation Supervisor b.

Coordinates with customer service, dispatch or other managers and staff as needed to report job progress, future scheduling requirements, project completion and new work orders efficiently.

Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments.

Accurately and completely prepares and executes all documentation, paperwork (e.

service records, requisitions, work performed, invoicing etc.

) e.

Installs and Services all types of commercial and residential air conditioning, ventilation equipment, refrigeration and ice machines with minimal supervision f.

Profit and Loss Accountability in area of Responsibility g.

Maintain open communication with company supervisors and administration h.

Assists in prioritizing construction projects and advise Customer Service in scheduling.

Support the company?s policies relating to collections.

Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.

g.

torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components, fan blades, gaskets, seals, etc.

) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment is in safe operating condition Experience/ ? High school diploma or its equivalent required.

? Must have completed a two-year technical program in an accredited technical college and have a minimum of 5 years experience or have completed 10 years field experience in the HVAC or controls industry.

? Proven competency in installing all types of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and ice machine equipment including but not limited to ductwork, piping and control wiring including start up.

The ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.

? Working knowledge of Airside Trouble Shooting and Test and Balance Principles.

? Must have a working knowledge of airside balancing and adjustment and system design.

? Must be universally certified in refrigerant handling.

? Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

? Possess strong verbal communication skills.

? Must possess ability to learn/understand basic mathematical formulas.

? Ability to establish effective working relationships with peers, superiors, and customers.

? Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

? Ability to drive safely to various work locations.

? Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.

? Physically able to perform strenuous work in a hot climate ? Profit and Loss Accountability in area of Responsibility.

? Respond to customer needs by repairing and/or replacing equipment.

? Answer customer questions and respond to equipment or performance concerns.

? Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, lap top computers and other diagnostic hardware to perform work for trouble shooting.

) for the purpose of ensuring the availably of items and equipment is in safe operating condition.

? May meet Property Managers or Homeowners for the purpose of resolving problems with competitors? installations and/or repair.
