ResponsibilitiesSupport GolfNow's Counsel and the Legal Department in all aspects of its practice, including drafting and reviewing documents with various golf course partners, assisting with legal aspects of marketing and promotion initiatives and partnerships, and managing the large volume of workflow of incoming and outgoing documents.
This may also provide support for legal aspects of Golf Channel's television network and other new media businesses as needed.
This requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prepare drafts of contracts, amendments and other legal documentation with golf course partners, vendors and strategic partners; assist with the review and revision of contracts, including the preparation of contract documents and amendments from templates.
Evaluate incoming contracts for accuracy and review contract language with attorneys as necessary.
Maintain a complete understanding of internal contract to ensure that company business fundamentals are foundational and reflected in final agreements.
Review and analyze contracts, case and/or administrative files, and other documents to summarize, extract and/or digest information requested by attorneys in the Legal Department.
Maintain and further develop contract monitoring processes.
Act as primary contact between in-house counsel and employees initiating sales, technology, and vendor contracts; respond to requests for guidance and assistance from various departments.
Coordinate with NBC Sport Group's Business & Legal Affairs department as needed to support the achievement of business goals.
Conduct legal research as needed.
Qualifications/RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in an in-house corporate legal department Paralegal certificate or college degree required Ability to draft high quality legal documents exercising independent judgment and discretion.
Experience as the principal person responsible for managing a high volume of information and multiple duties.
Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) Familiarity with commercial agreements, software and technology agreements, and SalesForce CRM platformAdditional Job Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.
