Registered Nurse - ORMC PACU - Orlando Regional Medical Center

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), a 808-bed hospital in downtown Orlando specializes in trauma, critical care, emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics and neurosciences. One of the state's six major teaching hospitals and the corporation's flagship medical center, we offer graduate medical education in seven specialties. 

ORMC is proud to be home to Central Florida's only Level One Trauma Center. Our leading edge technology and expertise in oncology, surgery, heart, vascular, stroke, neurosciences and orthopedics allow us to provide comprehensive care to the most critically-ill or -injured patients throughout our community.  ORMC meets the growing health care needs of our community, providing a wide range of medical services and numerous specialty centers. These include memory disorder, epilepsy and the Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute (OHRI), the esteemed Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (BIRC), and outpatient surgery services. 

Position Seeking:

The ORMC PACU department is seeking an experienced RN to join their team. 

License/ Certification:

Maintains current Florida RN license and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification are required

ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. PALS required for Pediatric Critical Care areas. NRP required for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). (See unit specific requirements for specialty certification).

Education/Training:

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Assumes responsibility for professional development and continuing education.

Meets all mandatory and developmental requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Experience:

Hospital experience required. ICU experience preferred. Based on area of assignment, specialty courses and specialty experience may be required.
