A well-established, multi-attorney firm in Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Estate Planning / Probate Paralegal for our office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the attorneys with all aspects of estate planning, probate, and intellectual property matters. This is a full time position, competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Must have experience as a full-time Estate Planning / Probate Paralegal
Must have working knowledge of Formal Probate Process the State of Florida
Experience in the Intellectual Property field a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word), time entry, legal management software
Paralegal degree or certification preferred
Previous experience in a fast paced law office preferred

The ideal candidate for this position should be able to:

Manage case files, including tracking and complying with Court deadlines
Draft correspondence, estate planning documents and pleadings
Outstanding interpersonal and telephone skills.
Positive, upbeat personality and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
