Estimator - Technical Administrator

Job Description:
Starting at $19.00 / hour depending on experience.
County Materials has a full-time position open for Technical Administrator / Estimator at our Astatula, FL location (40 minutes North of Orlando)

Job Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to, review of engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Compiling information from project plans and specifications into a comprehensive project take off and quote. Ability to work with a team in a fast pace environment where demands can change quickly, assist the sales force in technical and administrative duties, assist the team in successfully executing quotes and proposals, meets monthly with sales team, supports sales manager to carryout company directives.

Required Skills & Experience
Associate's Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field helpful. Professional demeanor is a must, proficient PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Technical Degree in CAD Drafting or a related field. One to three years of related construction industry experience. Experience with drainage products preferred. General understanding of construction methods and principals strongly preferred. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Technical reading and understanding required. Familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO desirable. Fluency with Microsoft Excel is recommended.

TECHNICAL DIPLOMA
1 – 3 Years
