To meet the demand for services, Riegl USA is looking for an experienced Shipping, Receiving and Logistics Specialist. This position will be responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, fixed asset check in/check out procedures, physical inventory organization and management, maintaining adequate shipping supplies, as well as shipping vendor scheduling and support functions to include scanning and filing shipment related documentation. This position is also responsible for facilities management.
Expanded Job Responsibilities also include the following:
- Perform all domestic and international shipping / receiving tasks and functions
- Create, verify, scan and upload documents into system. (i.e. BOL's, labels, packing list, photos, import/export documents, etc.)
- Fill customer orders per SOP and workflows and ensure compliance
- Arrange transportation that optimizes service and cost
- Perform support functions i.e. send email notifications, shipment tracking
- Perform inspection functions of incoming product per purchase order/packing list, verify unit count, identify damaged goods and maintain supporting inspection documents.
- Maintain organization and security of all inventory, Demo and Rental Assets
- Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, import/export regulations, health and safety regulations and other related policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred in business course of study.
- Must have at least 2 years of shipping and handling experience including Import/Export activities.
- Must have demonstrated problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Must have the ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.
- Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to multi-task, perform all essential job functions as listed above, and meet the educational requirements.
Work Environment:
Production environment; using hand trucks, taking inventory, processing paperwork, computer data entry, responsive to sales and shipping requests. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to hear and speak.
