They specialize in Engineering, IT, analysis and technical support services including project management, systems engineering, infrastructure installations, software design and engineering, research and development, modeling and simulation, training and many other custom information technology services usually in a classified environment. The company supports projects from concept to real-world application with end-users in mind. They engineer, design, prototype, manufacture and test a wide variety of mission-critical systems for a diverse range of customers.

The company has an immediate need for a Sr. Web/.NET Developer with an Active Secret clearance for a position at Patrick Air Force Base.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Web Developer you will serve as a member of the well-established Software Development Team responsible for developing and maintaining web based applications in support of unmanned rocket launches from the Eastern Range (Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL) and the Western Range (Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA):

Primary Duties and Essential Functions:
Assists Project Managers, Software Architects, Clients and other Application Developers in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and project planning for software application development
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Performs moderately complex modification, testing, and debugging tasks on vendor supplied utilities and packages to ensure fit with current operating environment.
Designs, codes, and maintains complex applications to ensure applications are efficient and updated on a regular basis.
Develops and implements web parts and customization of SharePoint Sites leveraging Visual Studio and .NET technologies to include non-standard functionality
Implements new features and optimizes existing functionality in applications based on business requirements
Participates in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews, and documentation reviews.
Develops and implements test plans for new and existing applications/functionality based on requirements.
Reviews and edits program and user documentation for applications developed within the department to ensure that customer access to product is efficient and user-friendly.
Develops and maintains project plans, requirements and design documents, and other system documentation.
Develops and maintains work procedures and instructions.

Basic Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's degree is desirable
Requires a minimum of 10 years experience developing software applications with Microsoft Visual Studio.
Requires current Security+ or CISSP certification or be able to obtain and maintain one of these certifications within 6 months of employment.
Requires significant recent experience with the following:

- .NET 4.x Framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET)

- Entity Framework

- AngularJS

- SQL Server 2008/2012 (T-SQL Query, Stored Procedure development and optimization)

- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

- Team Foundation Server

- Web Services (RESTful or Web API), XML
Requires experience with defect tracking processes and tools, and with source code version control processes and tools.
Requires solid understanding of object-oriented programming in an n-tier architecture.
Requires significant recent experience with two or more of the following required:

- Windows Presentation Foundation

- SharePoint 2013

- Service Oriented Architecture

- Agile methodologies

- Telerik Controls

Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. Naturalization.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required.

College Degrees must come from a school that is accredited in the discipline of the degree to be considered.
