Orlando Health is seeking a Director of Technology Business Management who will manage IT business operations supporting finance, ITgeneral controls (ITGC), compliance, risk, value management, vendor life-cycle management, IT governance, performance management and asset management. Establishes appropriate metrics for all areas of IT operations management to enable continuous improvement and measure IT value.

As a member of the office of the CIO (OCIO), collaborates and interacts with all OCIO council members regarding, operational, legal, program management, audit services and special project planning. Will also directly liaison with Corporate Finance regarding the management of IT and IT special projects financials.

  • Bachelors Degree required.

  • Masters degree in Business (MBA), Healthcare Management (MHA), or other related field preferred.




  • minimum of ten (10) years of functional experience in the business function,

  • to include at least five (5) years facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Promote transparency, reduce and align costs with the business, manage the lifecycle of third-party relationships, and monitor the organizations control environment.

  • Identify synergies across IT organization to consolidation of applications or infrastructure, promoting common system use, and aligning how technology is used to support business processes.

  • Manage the execution and continuous improvement of standard vendor life-cycle management, including sourcing, contracting, and vendor management to support the IT organization.

  • Ensure organizational alignment in the management of business functions related to finance, compliance, value management, software license management, and technology procurement.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in Request For Proposal (RFP) process, defining business objectives and sourcing strategies, pre-qualifying vendors, documenting requirements, issuing and managing the RFP process, identifying the final vendor that best fits the project requirements and negotiating the contracts with selected vendor(s); ensure a business case is in place for selected projects.

  • Collaborate in establishing appropriate IT governance for all IT teams.

  • Support any merger, acquisition, and/or divestiture opportunities from a technology perspective for Orlando Health. Create cost and project expectations for any planned M & A opportunities.
