Disability Support Services Coordinator (Temporary/Full-Time)

Seminole State College of Florida is accepting applications for a Disability Support Services Coordinator from candidates with a passion for support services to student with disabilities. The Disability Support Services Coordinator provides and arranges for academic support services to student with disabilities. Provides direct services to assist students with disabilities in transitioning to the post secondary environment; supports their introduction to college; progression to degree; and graduation transition and with appropriate accommodations and modifications necessary to ensure equal access. Provides information and appropriate services for current and prospective students. This position may be assigned to other campus locations based on department needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
2. One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Two years of experience working with students with disabilities.
2. Teaching or tutoring experience.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite in a Windows environment.
4. Master's degree in related area from an accredited institution.
