Bartender - Nicklaus Clubhouse - Full Time

POSITION OBJECTIVE
•Provides excellent customer service by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests and member
•Serve food where appropriate

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Takes orders from customers and/or servers
•Check member/guest cards for services
•Serves wine and beer
•Rotate and check dates on all fruit/bar garnishes
•Responsible for the cleanliness of the bar area and surrounding facilities
•Clean all bar glassware
•Work on POS daily; ensure proper charges are posted to member/guest accounts
•Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies
•Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display
•Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
•Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course
•Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager on Duty
•Other duties may be assigned as business demands

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or equivalent
•Minimum of one year of related experience in an upscale restaurant/resort or private club
•Bartending Certification preferred
•Care & ServStaff Certification preferred

REQUIREMENTS
•Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop. 
•Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time 
•Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds several times per shift
•Candidates in this role will be able to read, write, speak and understand English 
•Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
•Must be able to be flexible in scheduling (AM/PM shifts, holidays and weekends)
