Cocktail Server - Eleven - Part Time

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the service of the guests in the new “The View at Eleven” patio area. Position will also require assistance in other areas of the Restaurant during periods of low occupancy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Provide Food and Beverage service on The View patio.
•Serve has support for the Bartender during points of high Volume.
•Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
•Writes order on check or memorizes it, as well as verify membership.
•Use point of sale system.
•Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
•Garnishes and decorates dishes as needed prior to serving.
•Display knowledge of wine (and other alcoholic beverages).
•Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
•Present checks with script and posts charges to member/guest account.
•Daily checklists of duties and monitor linen supplies.
•Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
•Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager.
•Other duties may be assigned as business demands.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•One year previous experience as a server or server assistant in an upscale restaurant, hotel/resort or private club environment. 
•Preferred CARE & ServStaff Certification.

REQUIREMENTS
•Be physically able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
•Be able to work in a hot, cold, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time. 
•Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
