OVERVIEW
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing projects that flow through the Marketing Department. The position is responsible of the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. This position will work directly with the various departments to ensure ultimate success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Execution
- Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Planning Project Resources
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Delegate projects based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
Relationship Management
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE THE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to consistently move/lift items weighing up to 20lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Collaborative team player
- Knowledge and proven experience in project management software including but not limited to Asana, Base Camp and/or other project management software
- Computer literate with proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook/Express with the ability to learn new computer programs
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Ability to influence others without formal authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
- Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Project management certified is preferred
