Summary:
Provide Operational Finance stakeholders guidance, reports and annual budget preparation assistance; interact with the leadership of various Operational Finance customers (as assigned); review, analyze and record accurate journal entries
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
How to analyze and interpret financial statements/reports and present to a variety of groups.
Budgeting preparation and controls
How to work both independently with little direction or supervision, and being able to work well with Senior Financial Leader direction
Advanced personal computer operation including word processing and spreadsheets, with a strong ability to learn new software skills.
Performing tasks with extreme attention to detail.
Maintaining a positive attitude even during periods of heavy workload.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
How to learn, apply and explain policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university and a minimum of 3 years of professional reporting and budgeting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
