Job Summary:

  • Research, identify and qualify funding opportunities from corporate, foundation and government sources
  • Develop a deep understanding of program content to insure integrity and quality of proposal writing
  • Participate in proposal generation process including meeting with staff, collecting data, coordinating budget request and developing end product
  • Write, prepare and package proposals for submission
  • Manage a calendar of RFP deadlines / Coordinate timely submission of proposals
  • Attend bidder’s conferences / grantee meetings throughout Central Florida area
  • Track program/agency donations and provide acknowledgements to donors
  • Establish and maintain personal contact with funding organizations and key stakeholders
  • Assist with the development of materials for funding presentations
  • Assist with other development related functions as assigned
  • Develop, revise and submit required grant reports
  • Track outcomes on grant funded projects.

Other qualifications: Experience in writing research papers and other forms of written communication excellent writing, editing, research, presentation and oral communication skills. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher). Have the ability to plan, prioritize, shift priorities if necessary, to learn quickly and ask thoughtful questions as well as synthesize information, conduct research through a multitude of resources, work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team with different levels of staff and management and coordinate multiple projects to meet deadlines. Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized and able to work under tight deadlines.

Job Requirements

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver’s license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire’s insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Profit Management, Public Administration, Communications, English or Counseling related field

  • General knowledge of the behavioral health field preferred
