Compensation Analyst

We are currently seeking an organized and detail oriented professional who has advanced Microsoft Excel skills with previous compensation experience to become our next Compensation Analyst within our Human Resource department. This position develops, administers and maintains the College’s compensation programs to attract and retain qualified faculty and staff. Analyzes and evaluates compensation programs, principles and practices and prepares recommendations to ensure the college maintains a competitive and cost-effective position in the market. Serves as an expert resource, steward and main contact for compensation core processes, provides excellent service by responding timely to compensation inquiries and offers compensation information and support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
2. Three (3) years’ experience performing job analysis, job evaluations, salary surveys, and equity reviews.
3. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., v-look-up, mathematical formulas, pivot tables).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
2. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
3. HRIS (PeopleSoft) experience.
