Job title: Quality Inspector (Final Inspection)
Work Location: Longwood FL
Division/Department: QA
Reports to: Site Quality Manger
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inspecting product as applicable for final QA and/or in process QA inspection.
- Requires being able to use different measurement equipment as required for electrical and mechanical inspection. Visual inspection through magnification to verify items meet requirements specified in work instruction documents.
- Use of computer systems to move product at different stages of the inspection process.
- Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings as applicable to perform inspection duties.
- Learn and understand manufacturing steps as required to perform in process inspections and audits of manufacturing processes.
- Maintain Quality Clinic
- Verify MO’s for accuracy and material traceability
- Monitor packing methods
- Use of Internal software for PRF’s, material expiration and other reporting.
- Review training records for accuracy and updating.
- Enforce policies and procedures.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Experience with different measurement techniques both electrical and mechanical.
- Associates or Trade School Diploma
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- QA Environment experience – 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass eye exam to meet customer requirements for inspectors
