Starting Salary:
Utility Service Worker I: $14.98 per hour (Grade L02)
Utility Service Worker II: $16.03 per hour (Grade L03)
NATURE OF WORK:
Performs semi-skilled work in operations and maintenance of Wastewater Lift Stations and associated support systems (odor control systems, air compressors, chemical metering pumps and controls, etc.). Required to work under adverse environmental conditions. May be exposed to raw and/or processed sewage. Work is performed under the direction of a lead worker in a higher classification, such as Mechanic, Electrician, or Lift Station Operator, as directed by the section Supervisor, and is reviewed by direct observation, while in progress, and upon completion.
WORK LOCATION: 5100 L.B. McLeod Road, Orlando
REGULAR SCHEDULE is five days per week, eight hours per day, including weekends, and is subject to change based on division needs.
