Director of Facilities

We are currently seeking an experienced, innovative, and highly collaborative leader to become our next Director of Facilities. This position is responsible for plant operations, new construction, renovation and maintenance of college buildings and properties; oversees the work of assigned facilities personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures and with fire safety and health, ADA, energy management, security, and OSHA requirements; serves as the College’s chief coordinator and representative in construction matters, energy conservation and facilities reporting; and maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of five years of experience managing facility projects including new construction, maintenance, and renovations.
3. Minimum of three years of experience in supervising managers and professionals.
4. Valid Florida Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in developing Plant Survey and Capital Improvements Program information.
2. Experience in management for facilities construction projects.
