Job Title:          Itinerary Coordinator

Department:  Village Vacation Planning Services     

Reports To:     Village Vacation Planning Services Manager                     

OVERVIEW/POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Itinerary Coordinator connects with wish families prior to arrival, creating a personalized itinerary for the family based upon the families’ interests and dates of stay. They support wish families throughout their stay with itinerary suggestions, theme park tickets and information and other general guest services available at GKTW Village. The Itinerary Coordinator liaises with Village Vacation Planning Services, Guest Services, Entertainment, Café Clayton and other appropriate operational areas directly impacting the guest experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Wish Families

  • Complete pre-arrival contact with every wish family
  • Follow-up as necessary with wish family
  • Create customized GKTW vacation itinerary
  • Connect with families daily after arrival at the Village to ensure they feel connected and have an exceptional stay

Attractions Ticketing

  • Communicate ticket processes to wish families
  • Assist with theme park reservations for wish families
  • Create ticket packets for wish families

All other duties as assigned

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS BEYOND NORMAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Work flexible schedule if needed and/or extended hours of work

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent, current working knowledge of Central Florida theme parks
  • Ability to speak and write English & Spanish clearly and articulately with a positive, professional and pleasant manner
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain multiple priorities and ability to adapt quickly and easily to a changing environment
  • Ability to work with all types of individuals, including co-workers, volunteers, vendors, guests and leaders in a helpful manner
  • Demonstrated experience to deliver exceptional customer services
  • Must be able to use creative problem solving skills and demonstrate decisiveness
  • Ability to provide direction for interns and volunteers in a clear and supportive way
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • High School Diploma
  • At least one year of previous guest services experience
  • Experience providing guest services at hotel, resort or theme park preferred
