Special Assistant to the President

Seminole State College of Florida has a great opportunity to join our team of diverse faculty and staff as Special Assistant to the President. We are looking for an experienced and highly organized candidate with a passion for customer service. Working under the President of Seminole State College of Florida, this position serves as the President’s Office liaison with the general public, community leaders, constituents, dignitaries, and officials from other colleges and universities. The successful candidate will act as the President’s/College’s intermediary when issues arise involving students and the general public.

This position acts as both the Executive Manager of the President’s Office and the Clerk to the Seminole State College District Board of Trustees. Responsible for executive management and supervision of the daily functions of the President’s Office and provides detailed administrative support to the District Board of Trustees. 

What experience and skills do you need for this role?

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate degree from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum five years of progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant experience managing a complex office environment or direct support of a senior leader in management, operations, or advocacy role.
3. One-year team lead experience.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Florida Public Notary.
